Reviews and Ratings
The resort is set in a beautiful, green environment close to nature, making it ideal for nature lovers. However, there are some downsides, including inadequate ventilation in the rooms and occasional water supply issues. While the service is friendly and helpful, the overall dining experience leaves something to be desired.
Capitol Village offers a peaceful retreat in a lush environment near Madikeri. While the cottages provide a cozy escape with great views, some amenities such as Wi-Fi and coffee service in the rooms were lacking. The service was friendly and responsive, but the dining options were somewhat average. Overall, it's a lovely spot for relaxation, but there's room for improvement in a few areas.
Capitol Village is a serene resort just outside Madikeri, nestled within a lush coffee plantation. The cottages are large and comfortable, offering a lovely view for relaxation. However, the lack of room amenities like coffee/tea service and a TV was a downside. While the food was average, the warm service from the staff made up for it. The scenic setting is perfect for a quiet getaway, albeit with limited Wi-Fi access and dining options.
My stay at this resort was absolutely wonderful, nestled in a tranquil environment surrounded by nature. The peaceful location near Madikeri provided a refreshing escape, and waking up to the sound of birds was a highlight. While the rooms were comfortable, they were quite basic and lacked luxury. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Sandeep, Balakrishna, and Vinay, who made our experience even more enjoyable. I would return, but I would not expect high-end accommodations.
Capitol Village is a charming resort located just outside Madikeri, surrounded by lush nature and coffee plantations. While the setting is tranquil and beautiful, the rooms leave room for improvement with limited ventilation and no air conditioning. Dining options are quite basic, but the service staff friendly and responsive. Overall, it’s a peaceful retreat for nature lovers, though those seeking luxury may want to look elsewhere.
